LOU always gets contributions from guys playing for the minimum. Here are some highlights, ranked by WAR.
Rookie RP Peter Sanders put up 1.5 WAR before an injury ended his stellar season.
SP Mike MacRobb gave us 1.1 WAR as a SP, despite being a natural RP and a sidearmer to boot.
Rookie DH Mark Moon put up 1 WAR as the long-side DH. His performance faltered after a scorching first three months.
1B Manuel Marino was a mLFA signing who gave us 287 ABs against RHP, with an acceptable .366 OBP and 0.9 WAR overall.
