Some team options loom large for LOU heading into the offseason.

SP Emanuele Mercati has the youth and the ratings to justify his $11m team option, but his performance may lead LOU to target other players on the market who could provide superior numbers at a lower price tag.

SS Juan 'Juanny Baseball' Medrano is in the same boat. The SS is constantly in trade talks that have gone nowhere. His $10.5m price tag is completely reasonable for a BBA SS, but comparable performance might be available from young rookie SS Ka'im Khayri.

LOU will be available to field offers on both players.
