LOU has managed to keep its core together for many seasons, but this offseason portends much more change than usual. KWAK sticking around will help, but losing DLC will be a blow. LOU anticipates losing other valuable players as well.

SP/RP Luis 'Viper' Gonzáles signed for a criminal amount a few seasons ago, but is trying to make up the difference now. LOU simply doesn't have the space to make it happen, and with a few SP specs waiting in the wings, can afford to let him leave.

RP Juan García exploded onto the scene in 2047 with 2.4 WAR, as he finally settled into a bullpen role. He improved on his stats as a stopper this season, with a 3.4 WAR. LOU could have locked Garcia up to a sweetheart deal prior to Garcia's emergence, but he hadn't shown the necessary stones.
