The Sluggers came within three games of repeating as Heartland champs, a result which certainly would have stuck in Head Yellow Springer RonCo's craw. Alas, LOU only has themselves and the month of May to blame. The Sluggers stumbled to a 14-15 record that month, compared to YS9's 20-9 mark.
