Despite a disappointing 2045 by his standards, and a tough start to 2046, star CF Théo Bourges will be a Slugger... until he isn't.
Bourges signed a sweetheart deal, extending his deal by 4 years at $14m per season. This deal buys out one year of arbitration and will take him through his age 30 season.
Chief Slugger Shaw said that the deal made financial sense for both sides, and makes it even easier to trade Bourges should the opportunity arise.
