LOU's unlikely run through the playoffs continues after the Sluggers advanced past the Mad Popes, 4-2. While CF Théo Bourges carried the team on his back, winning the series MVP, the most exciting news out of the series was SP James Browning's return to action after missing all but four regular-season games.

Browning only threw 4.1 innings in pivotal game 4, giving up 1 ER, but his presence obviously inspired the team. Browning looks to start Game 1 against the hated Yellow Streams Nine.
