SP Ken "Hotpants" Bates has agreed to a 3-year extension that will keep him in Louisville for the near future. "I'll admit, when Brooklyn traded me to Louisville after last season, I went into a deep depression," said Bates.
"I'm a winner, and Louisville... isn't. But I've gotten to know all the local hookers, and I really like my drug dealer, so I figure I might as well stay here."
While details of the contract haven't been publicly disclosed, an anonymous source inside the Louisville organization confirms that the deal runs through the 2041 season for approximately $10.33 million per year, with a player option for the third year.
"I knew when I got him addicted to our high-quality local meth that we'd have a great chance to sign him," said GM Shaw, "and since I'm his dealer, I figure we might turn a profit on the deal."
Bates led the Johnson league in losses last season with 17.

Yes, Shaw and Loservilles ... a match made in heaven. So to speak.
