Losing in Louisville 1.2 - We're not really losing

So apparently I thought we had a horrible team. So far, I've been wrong.

We're currently leading the FL WC race with a 23-15 record. A key series against division leader Washington resulted in no ground made up on the 3.5 game deficit we're currently facing. Making things worse as our WC lead slips is injuries to two of our starters: Floyd Bannister and David Cone. They're both not expected to miss too much time, but Cone lumped his Stuff and Movement and it may not look good keeping him in the rotation. It's not that big of a deal though as Cone has been the "worst" starter for us this year (3.65/1.26). Bannister's injury hurts a little bit more (5-1, 2.80, 1.08), but it's not long term, so we'll figure it out from there.

Overall, things have been great, especially with the pitching staff. Nastay and DiBartolomeo have been ballers and DeLucia will take on a bigger rotation role with Cone/Bannister out.

On the offensive side, things haven't been all that great outside of WINGS FUCKING HAUSER and Sobah, our middle infield combo. They're both hitting over .350 and OPS'ing over .900. Smurf has 11 homers, but only a .244 OBP. And we're lacking any sort of outfield pop. We just can't afford to lose defense for offense, otherwise we'd try Cosenza.

Big chance for some wins coming up with a 4-game set against the doormat Monarchs.
