Brian Walden

Louisville GM Hopkins seems determined to destroy pitching prodigy, Brian Walden. The twenty-five year-old has already thrown 862 MBBA innings with a total of 758 strike-outs. He's won 47 games, he has a career VORP of 107. Did I mention he's twenty-five? He's averaged over 33 starts and 250 innings for the past three seasons.

The former first overall pick (2009) tossed 243 strikeouts in 2016. He has NEVER been named to an all-star team. He has NEVER won a major award. Not that Louisville Sluggers GM Hopkins is complaining.

"Walden's lack of recognition and awards are likely the only things that will be keeping his value down this off-season when he hits his first arby period. He might cost me a bundle. The ingrate. He was nothing before me. Do you hear me? NOTHING!"

Seems like a great player. Is it odd how 44% of his starts were not quality starts? The Missing Link (ha) has a stamina of 10.
