Dugout Dirt 48.05 - Canes Make it Five in a Row with Win Over Gamblers

The Canes continued their winning ways taking their fifth game in a row with a score of 3 to 2 over the Atlantic City Gamblers.

Trailing 2 to 0 going into the bottom of the seventh, the Canes tied the score on RBI singles by Jeremy Pickens and Bryan Harris. The Canes scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning on a run scoring single by Pancho Costa.

Costa went 3 for 3 on the day with an RBI.

Chung Chan (2-2) got the win in relief while Cristo Munoz rung up his 23rd save of the season as he pitched a scoreless 9th inning.

The win results in the Canes’ record going to 50-38.
