Dugout Dirt 48.04 - Canes win Four Straight

The Canes continued their homestand and won their fourth game in a row in a pitchers’ duel with a score of 1 to 0 over the Atlantic City Gamblers.

The lone run of the game was in the bottom of the 5th when Julio Uribe stroked a RBI single

Uribe went 2 for 4 on the day as he was the only player on either side to get more than one hit.

Luis Rubio (3-3) gained the win giving up no runs in 7.1 innings while striking out 6. Chung Chan got his first save of the season as he pitched a perfect 1.2 innings.

The win results in the Canes’ record going to 49-38.
