Since being selected in the first round with the 4th overall pick in the 2043 draft, starting pitcher Scott Davis has succeeded in each stop in his minor league progression. At the start of the 2046 season, Davis finds himself in the #2 rotation slot to start out the season.
In his four starts this season, the 21 year-old righty has recorded a 2-2 record with a 3.54 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. In his debut against Brooklyn, Davis provided a quality start allowing 3 runs in 7 innings of work. His second start against Rockville went another 7 innings but allowed 4 runs. Both of those previous starts were losses. The tide started to turn in his third start allowed 2 runs over 8 innings as the Canes defeated Atlantic City 10 to 3. In Davis’ fourth start, he picked up another win allowing two runs over the course of six innings.
When asked how he likes the new stadium, the Gainesville, TX native said, “I will have to admit, the steaks at “The Chamberlain” are awesome. I will have to be careful not to add too many more pounds onto this 6’8” frame.” At his current weight of 215 pounds, Davis may be able to down a steak or two during the season.
The Canes’ faithful hopes that Davis turns into the anchor of the rotation by year end.

When that changeup reaches it's potential he will be a tough pitcher to face.
