The Canes scored three runs in the bottom of the 4th inning with a solo homer by Daryl Pris, back to back doubles by Pancho Costa and Jose Zuniga capped off by an one-run single by Alejandro Rodriguez. It was Pris again in the bottom of the 10th to drive in Julio Uribe with the game winning RBI single.
Fernando Guerrero (4-2) was the recipient of the win from Pris’ 10th inning heroics as Guerrero pitched a perfect top of the 10th inning.
Ismael Guzman (0-3) was tagged with the loss as he gave up one run on four hits in his 1.1 innings of work.
The win improves the Canes’ record to 25-27.
