On the tail end of a trading frenzy, 17 out of the 35 players were given their cup of coffee via the September call-ups. Many of those players experienced many quality innings over that month. The Coffee Shop Series will summarize the player’s performance over the last month. This edition will review Julio Uribe.
Julio collected 11 hits in 36 at bats for a .306 average and had a .359 on-base percentage.
With the glove, Julio had no errors in 10 chances as he played 77 innings in left-field.
These stats came on the heels of Julio spending the prior portion of 2042 with the AAA clubs in Winnepeg prior to getting traded to Jacksonville and then in Gotham. Julio maintained a .318 batting average and a .393 on-base percentage.
Probability on being in the 2043 opening day lineup: Julio figures to have a chance for a platoon opportunity in left-field for Jacksonville come next April.
