After winning 12 of their last 20 games, the Cobble Hill Robins sit atop the league in an extremely important statistical category -- Fan Interest +/-. Their Fan Interest increase of +4 over the last 30 days, twice that of the next best team, places the Robins far and away the most increasingly interesting team in the BBA.

"Our ticket office reached out to me telling me of the good news," said Robins' GM Shoeless after the teams 9-1 win over Calgary (I used creative license here to not use our last game where we lost to Calgary 8-5). "Well, they didn't find the extra work of selling four more tickets as good news, but they're not really used to actually working."

The increase in fan interest was reported to the league by the Robins' new Director of Fan Relations, Willy Wilkenson. The home-schooled 15-year-old was hired in the offseason due to his willingness to work for an autographed José Torres baseball, a price, despite steep, welcomed by the new Cobble Hill General Management.

"The league said I reported the fan interest incorrectly," said Wilkenson as he played with his Tonka truck in his family's backyard sandbox. "I simply reported that the Robins added four new fans over the last 30 days. I don't know what the league has against my grandma and her Bridge group liking the Robins. Four fan interest is four fan interest."

In a season where BBA Today blowhard Ron Collins said the Robins would likely struggle to win 40 games, leading the league in any category is a straight up IN-YOUR-FACE-RON -- moment.

[Editor's Note: The BBA declined comment on the Fan Interest leaderboard].
