The Robins have started to fall away over the summer thanks to their their overperformance coming back to earth and some untimely injuries, but there is still at least one storyline that the Robins can offer up. If you look at the JL batting title race, Lawrence Miranda is currently in a tight competition with Larry Stinson for the honor. Miranda has proven that hitting .300 as a rookie in 2056 was no fluke, as he has followed it up with an even better start to this season even as he faced a spell on the sidelines thanks to a back injury, it's clear that he has been a big factor in the Robins taking a first step towards the right end of the standings where they are currently projected to finish 6th in the table.
What makes Miranda's emergence much more surprising was that it's important to remember that he wasn't considered a top 100 prospect, but after hitting for average at a very good clip in the minors, he has taken his chance at the majors and run with it, thus providing the Robins with their first basemen of the future and someone who has blossomed into a player that the rest of the BBA is beginning to notice.
