Brooklyn State of Mind: A Secret Escape To Plot (2057.1)
During the 2056 BBA playoffs, almost no attention was paid to the Brooklyn Robins. With another 100 loss season and a roster that should be sponsored by a swiss cheese company, the wider BBA world ended up looking at the storylines that the more successful teams were generating. For Robins Chief Baseball Officer Ben Heuring, he was able to finalize his offseason plans in secret by doing a couple of trips.
The first trip that he took was heading to India for talks with Robins owner Nagendra Ganesh. The 71 year old has owned the Robins for close to a decade, and tends to avoid spending much time in Brooklyn. Instead, he focuses on being a key player in cricket and soccer, and has been rumored to communicate with Robins executives via email. His reasoning is that he doesn't want to interfere with the professionals that he hired to run his baseball team. So it made news when Heuring was spotted at an Indian Premier League match during the Cartwright Cup. No substantial leaks of this meeting exist, but after reading the tea leaves it seems that Heuring's job is safe and that he was selling his boss on what is being called "The Decision".
Later on during the travel day between Game 2 and 3 of the BBA Series, Heuring was spotted coming out of a restaurant in upstate New York, clutching a takeout box and talking on the phone with someone. When asked about the existence of "The Decision", he declined to comment. "I have no idea what this Decision is about. I'm just taking a trip to get out of Brooklyn. What happened with me and Mr. Ganesh in India is a private matter. But feel free to continue to write about it as you wish."
Nobody knows what "The Decision" is, but rumors have been swirling on Robins Twitter and the Robins message boards. It's clear that something is going on in Brooklyn, for the Robins have been media silent for weeks. Maybe the end of the offseason will reveal all.

Ooh that's intriguing. Perhaps Seattle isn't the only team on the move?
