Coming into the 2056 season, one of the biggest storylines for the Robins was that Wilson Prieto was going to make his long awaited debut for the Robins after being on the top 100 prospect list frequently through his time in the minor league system, though with some variance in ranking. So when he was given his shot at end of spring training, none of the wider BBA world was too surprised. Prieto was excited to make the step up, and sales of his jersey were popular at the official Robins team store and website, when angry Robins fans weren't blowing up the phone lines asking for the front office to be fired.
The positives were that Prieto was able to hit with some power, and seemed to take to BBA pitching a bit better than expected, given that other hyped rookies in Brooklyn struggled in the past. That is all well and good. His glove work is going to need some attention, though. Those ZR stats are a tough read, but the good news is that the Robins have a plan in the offseason to finally be able to spend some money. What Prieto is going to be doing at the Robins facility this winter is going to be focusing on K prevention as well as hitting, as his strikeout numbers were high. I don't know what is next for him, but the Robins should look to build around their young core and supplement with improving the pitching, which was about as effective at getting guys out as stormtroopers are at hitting their targets.

He’s certainly not a SS. Bat might work out though.
