So Year 1 of the X Generation era is done, and the Robins did win on the game within the game. Finances are very important in the BBA, and the Robins were able to increase both Fan Interest and attendance. Brooklyn attracted over 2 millions fans out to Flatbush, and averaged 25,000 fans a game, which were increases over last year. What this means is that despite all of the losing, the Robins were able to make some more money, and that money can be spent with some contracts coming off the books due to previous trades in terms of salary retained.

With this windfall and some careful management planned, the Robins are rumored to have a list of free agents in line with some use of the rumored PPT magic, a variety of positions can be upgraded to surround the X Generation and increase the Fan Interest further. More will be revealed in the offseason, but needless to say a more packed Ebbets Field is a step in the right direction.

The midnight oil has been burning hot in Brooklyn during these playoffs, and plans are afoot. This won't be an overnight fix, but I see a path forward.
