Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Announce Cure For Injuries (2052.4)

Post by lordtoffee » Tue Nov 08, 2022 3:52 pm

With a number of Robins players getting injured this year, especially the pitchers, it became clear to the team that they are going to need to find someone to help out. And no, we are not going to be sponsored by Dennys or buy a dealership. The Robins are pleased to announce a partnership with Long Island University to provide sports medicine.

"We are thrilled to announce this partnership. With our team being called the Best Rotation on the DL in BBA history by the Brooklyn Eagle, LIU's new medical school is going to be the place to be. And with the new salary cap, this extra sponsorship is going to go straight into the bottom line and help us by getting a closer look at the LIU baseball team." Robins Chief Baseball Officer Ben Heuring feels that this is going to be most important announcement in the BBA today. What do you mean the BBA series is going on? And why do I hear boss music?

Anyway, Leonard Thompson has been progressing well in his rehab, as has Jim Armstrong. Reports from the LIU medical facility have been positive, and both should be back at some point next season assuming that there is no chicanery that is happening.
