It's been a pretty quiet deadline for Brooklyn. While there have been plenty of trades with the deadline approaching, it's become clear that the Robins aren't finding a lot of suitors. Honestly, no blame goes towards any of the other BBA GMs. Everyone has different needs, and with a clear divide in the standings that might be something to consider. Robins GM Ben Heuring has been clear that he is going to listen for offers, but that's something that he can't control.
"Obviously, I wouldn't be doing my job as a GM if I wasn't looking at what could be out there. I have been looking at who might be available, what the needs of other teams might be. While I am happy that we have at least been competitive for our home fans in Brooklyn, we still have issues. But the fans can be assured that the planning has been started for 2052, where we expect to look to take the next step forward. But we still are going to be putting out our best product possible for 2051."
