There have been meltdowns throughout the years in the BBA, but Brooklyn is something out there. We all know that the salary cap is in place, and can be brutal. It looks like there are going to be some cap casualties on this roster, and the last traces of a possible playoff run will have to be sacrificed. Ben Heuring may be one of the newer GM actors on the BBA stage, but it's clear that he had to learn some lessons the hard way. There will probably be some trades and arby decisions in the offseason that will make some eyebrows open, but the cap is a harsh mistress. At the very least, he went for it and sources close to him indicate the GM will stay on as ownership was fine with the gamble.

The main person who is going to be the subject of rumors is Pierre Legrande. He should have some value, and the Robins would even be willing to eat up to $9 million or even a few more if sources are correct. He was worth the contract on the front end, but would be someone who could be worth a shot even if Legrande will take his player option. In fact, those that read this forum are encouraged to make an offer after the Series. That's right, this is a TN that is also a post on the Trade Block.
