Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Advance To Face Jackrabbits (2045.6)

6 runs a game ended up being the magic formula for the Robins as they were able to advance past the Montreal Blazers in 4 games and avoided having to take a return trip to Montreal for a fifth game. Series MVP Felipe Vega continued to establish his reputation as a player comfortable in the postseason with 3 home runs in the first 3 games, and was the big reason offensively for the Robins scoring those 24 runs. Most importantly, the pitching staff is going to be lined up, and the Robins can officially announce that they are going to go with a four man rotation.

The reason the Robins are going in that direction is because it has proven to work, and the strength of this team has been the depth all year in addition to the star players. Plus, Takeo Aoki did perform well in his start in the clinching game 4. If the Robins are being honest, this is going to be an uphill battle. The Jackrabbits are great at everything, and probably are the favorite to come out of the Johnson. The Robins are going to need to get production from everyone, and see what happens. It should be an exciting series.
