Brooklyn falls one game short of title S23E01

The Brooklyn Robins finished one-game short of a truly miraculous turnaround, but taking the Landis Cup to seven games was a miracle in itself considering where they were five seasons ago.

"There shouldn't be one unhappy Brooklyn Robins player, fan or employee right now," said GM Blue Pasquale moments after the Robins dropped the deciding Landis Cup game to Atlantic City, 7-4. "No one saw this team coming. No one thought we could go from 57 wins to the brink of a championship in just five seasons.

"We've returned this franchise to its former glory and we will settle for nothing less than excellence every single day going forward."

Pasquale then went on to say that the team would be undertaking several initiatives over the next few months in order to, "honor where we've come from and highlight where we're going."
