Offensive Award

Jim Wilson
In his first full season with Baltimore Wilson posted a .287/.340/.572 line. His contribution was the biggest part of the JL leading offence. The just turned 33 year old Wilson clubbed 39 homeruns and 107 RBIs leading the team in both categories. Fresh of signing a 3 year extension (+2 option years) Wilson will be looked on to continue his production.
Pitching Award

Juan Rivera
His "new" stats weren't all that special but a team leading 16-6 record set the pace for the division win. Rivera had a 4.38 ERA in 195 innings over 28 starts. Rivera has the key part of a rotation that doesn't rely on an ace but a collection of solid 4 ish ERA guys.
Rookie Award

Lucio Vazquez
Vazquez basically wins this by default. As a veteran team the Monarchs haven't had a great deal of youth around lately. The team is very high on Vazquez. The young 1B managed 14 homers in 50 games and was very impressive with the bat in his first taste of the MBWBA. Vazquez would appear to be the everyday 1B heading into 2013.
