I can’t name five Oakland Athletics, but I do follow the Reds very closely (I can name like 50 of their prospects lol), I play fantasy baseball, and I always start a new offline league with each edition of OOTP.

My knowledge of MLB has deteriorated to watching five second clips my sons show me of players I don’t know.

Gone are the days when I subscribed to Vineline magazine and watched entire Cubs games. I haven't religiously followed the league since having my first kid almost 20 years ago. That happens to coincide with Bartman but he wasn't the cause. I only had time to truly devote to one sport at that point and it was hockey. I watched every Caps game since the 90's after moving back to DC, so I poured my time and energy into that team, even the Jagr years and the Glen Hanlon era. I want to get back into MLB, but what the hell is that game now (grumpy old man impression)?

Are they baseball clips or TikTok dances?

I can name more than 5 A’s. Reggie Jackson, Joe Rudi, Beet Campaneris, Sal Brando, gene Tenace, Claudell Wahington, Roy Fosse, catfish Hunter, Vida Bkue, etc. just can’t name any of the current ones.

I used to follow it quite a bit more intense. I grew up a huge Cubs fan. When the Cubs decided to tear apart their core a few years ago and trade Rizzo, Bryant & Baez that one really hurt my feelings a bit and I began to slowly back away from the day to day game.

I’m surprised by this. But it does remind me of Tim’s statement that OOTP is a financial sim with a baseball skin.

I follow my team the Rangers a little, mainly looking at their standings position and box scores. Other than that BBA consumes most of my baseball interest, as does my fandom of the Lakers and the Saints.

Honestly, I don't follow MLB much at all but I can name five A's, mainly because they are my team in my MLB the show franchsie. LOL Main reason I don't follow it is because it's impossible to...thanks to Bally Sports and their streaming deal. Even if I wanted to do Bally Sports plus for $20 a month...it doesn't show it including the Reds. Used to be on YouTube TV but hasn't in a couple seasons. And of course, can't do MLB TV because it blocks out local games.

I did get to watch yesterday's game...because it was on FS1.

I actually haven't watched more than 2 innings of a game all season. Mostly cause I working overnights now and my only time to sleep is from 6-9:30, when most games are on. But another part is the over analytics, AI managing the games and all these stupid arcade rules.

I love watching it. Like someone mentioned, though MLB is so stupid with the restrictions on MLB.tv. I live in Vegas and can't watch the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Giants or A's. I use a VPN to watch them, but its annoying people have to resort to that and casual fans who don't want to go through that aren't going to and will be pissed that the subscription they paid for is only to watch 2/3rds of the games live.

I chose not at all but my actual answer is some to little, not much. I don't really follow a team.

I yearn to get back to my daily watching/following, but nowadays I can say that about a lot of stuff I used to do. One day it will happen.

I mainly follow the Braves but will sometimes watch other games if I have certain players in Prize Picks that I am betting on, etc.
