Ouch. Soroka, the ace, goes down w/ torn achilles now Acuna completely tears his ACL. No telling how long and how good/bad he will be when he returns.

I have to admit, the Acuna incident last night immediately put me back in the mental place of Aguilar going down with the Kraken.

Jazz Chisholm, Jr. made a classy move today in wearing bright yellow batting gloves to send good vibes to Acuna. There's no way anyone can blame Chisholm for running out that infield HR. He couldn't have known why Acuna went down...he just saw the ball rolling free in the OF.

I haven't seen the Acuna injury and won't go searching for it. I'd bet it was gruesome.

You couldn't see anything. He was trying to run down a long line drive before it got to the wall. Wasn't like he took a wrong step. He just overextended, being Superman, and his ACL couldn't hold up. The only camera view, that I've seen, is from behind and he just crumples. Now watching the close ups of him in pain and the medical staff treating him was hard to watch.

I'm not kidding that I had flashbacks to Manuel Aguilar (not sure if that rings a bell to you or not...)

I hear and remember the bell.

Aguilars history is alive and well.
