Where oh where will my favorite pitcher land, oh where oh where will he go?

It was bad enough to see our manager go when it should have been the GM to get launched (IMHO), but to compound that with the loss of my favorite player and the teams best pitcher could devastate me

If he lands in St. Louis, that will be disappointing by understandable. If he lands in Miami, I will be absolutly crushed and torn!.

The good news is he won't be going to the north side!

I think a guy like Buehrle will take forever to sign. Very few people will sign til January i think. And no one getting paid any significant amount (by baseball standards) will sign til after pujols and fielder set the market.

Buehrle wants to stay. Why wouldn't he? He's been in Chicago forever. He just doesn't have to decide that immediately - and it's to his benefit to wait.

I certainly hope he does. It's Buehrle and Konerko that I identify with the team, especially now that Ozzie is gone, losing him would just gut my feelings for the team.

I am devastated by this news today....

Might be a separate thread but, Marlins, WTF?!?! Is this going to be a rental team like their other championships?

I would have loved to have Buehrle in the D. Instead I get..... Octavio Dotel? meh.

At least you are getting signs that your team will compete this year. Right now, I am not getting anything to give me hope for 2012 with my White Sox at all..... this is very discouraging news...
