Texas vs Detroit

Post by Al-Hoot » Sat Oct 08, 2011 10:54 am

Going to my first post-season game tonight.
And maybe tomorrow evening also.

Go Rangers.

I really wish we were playing the Yanks again this year in the ALCS. But we'll see what happens.

Have a good time. Nothing like playoff baseball (I was at game 3 in Detroit).

Speaking of which, by the time the Tigers get through with you, you'll wish you HAD played the Yankees!

:plus1: for the Rangers

That was one long wet miserable suspenseful game. Predictabe results though. I guess we should pitch Ogando as much as possible this series.

I'll take it anyday over an nfl game. I can't even go into a sports bar here without having to request that they show the MLB play off games on a TV there is so much damm football on every single frickin minute.

and PS -- a LOT more rain predicted all day today in Arlington... first rain of any kind since way back in May, happens to be during the ALCS...

Hoping for a good game on Monday.... Hopefully Mad Max can turn in a good performance. Then its back to Comerica so Texas can FEAR THE FIST!

The loss of Delmon and now Magglio (who was red hot) will hurt the Tiger lineup. So many chances against C.J. in the early going and the Tigers couldn't capitalize. I wasn't impressed with all of the swings and misses. Our bullpen performed well, though, they gave the Tigs a chance to come back, which they almost did. Heres hoping for an entire series as close as the first game.

My son started wearing a rangers hat this year...he liked the "T" logo since his name is Trent and wanted to watch the rangers on MLB.tv. So I followed them a bit this year....going to root for them to play the brewers in the ws.

Game 2 was one of the best games Ive ever seen. Put that one up there with the 91 WS.
