I have never seen a .220 hitting Shortstop make a city nearly forget about a Cy Young award winner, but good God is Escobar fun to watch. I'm sure after 60 games of Bettencourt, your pitchers would agree.

Actually, Betancourt's defense has been much better than advertised. We're more concerned about his complete lack of a stick.

Escobar is an incredible shortstop, though. Ozzie Smith like, if he can make the routine plays consistently (which is also Y-Bet's vice).
