Attendance
Attendance
I was just quickly taking a look at the Mets vs. Colorado game on MLB.tv, and was astonished how many empty seats i saw. Stadium looks like its only 20% filled. A Rockies problem, or is the whole MLB (maybe beside the really big teams) struggling with not enough paying visitors?

The Rockies are averaging over 33,000 per game this year. 67% of capacity.
Cleveland is a surprise averaging only 14,400 with the best record in the AL.

Well, must be the eather then there - was just astonishing to see that many empty seats. And the Colorado Rockies, who are in first place, have sold 19.8 percent more tickets so far.

Re: Attendance
It's a day getaway game that had a rain delay I believe... Not many teams can fill the park for those games.Shugi wrote:I was just quickly taking a look at the Mets vs. Colorado game on MLB.tv, and was astonished how many empty seats i saw.
