Many of you in 2020 probably don't know this, but we started from a game called Front Page Sports (FPS) Baseball. (Not Matt - pretty sure that was Earl Weaver - but most of us.)

Apparently with so much time on everyone's hands, one of my ancient FPS leagues is trying to start back up again with OOTP. The Ace Virtual Baseball Association was the launching point from where I jumped to the Global Baseball Consortium, the predecessor to the MBBA/MBWBA/BBA. Shannon Smithwick brought me in. I've outlasted Shannon by about a real life decade and a half, I think. Maybe two.

I have absolutely no interest in doing this, but I thought it was typically topically off-topic. Also I'm releasing twelve more albums like this titled "Grandpa's Socially Distanced Fireside Chats."

The Global Baseball Consortium is what got me into online baseball.

Then went from there to the GUBA (short lived) to the ORB2 (loved that league), to the various name changes we’ve had here in the BBA.

I ended up as KC in the ORB2, I had a blast with that league but it suffered as too many GM's were in both the MBBA and ORB2 and couldn't cope with the demands of both

I was one of those and focused more on the ORB2 than here. Was in the minority in that and it this folded. I think I tried to do the simming to help Matt for a while but participation just dwindled and it folded and I focused here.

Yes, I was really invested in KC, I had Willie McCovey and Fred Lynn about to break all sorts of records . . . and it folded :(
