Broadcasting

Post by 7teen » Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:08 pm

I know some of you do a lot of podcasting and may know more about the tech stuff than me so I figure asking you guys may be a start..... I’ve gotten into some broadcasting of our local HS sporting events this year and me and another guy are looking to partner up with the school to start an online broadcasting network for our HS through Spreaker.

We’ve done games all year through YouTube using just one mic shared between two broadcasters. We want to hook up two kids, preferably headsets, but aren’t sure what sort of sound board type thing we need to make that work properly.

Any of you guys savvy enough with that stuff to help us out?

We use laptop for games now and broadcast through YouTube. Going to be doing the same (laptop) just switching to Spreaker which has a lot more functionality for music, commercials, and sound bites for our broadcasts.

We’ve been using just a single podcast mic up to this point and with a two-man booth, having just one mic has its limitations.
