Cubs/Reds, 1965 - Jim Malony No-No

Yes, it's an hour long, but if you like old-school baseball, it's a beautiful hour. Catch the last few innings of Cincy's Jim Maloney throwing a 187-pitch, 10-inning no hitter (with 10 walks!). Watch skinny hitters hit without gloves (and sometimes without helmets) and whip-like pitchers. See Pete Rose as a kid. Marvel at how shallow Vada Pinson plays center. Ernie Banks, Billy Williams. Frank Robinson. Watch the amazing use of pitchers to hit...pine tar, bringing two bats up to the plate to warm up with. Fairly rapid pitching...catcher gear of the time...

And, yeah, Maloney could really throw.
