Well, the News here in H-Town is going psycho with Harvey incoming. It's like they forgot we took a direct hit 2008 from Ike and made it through just fine. They've got people buying all the bottled water and gas in a 60 mile radius. I find it hilarious that people in Katy (45+ miles from the coast) are out buying up all the generators from Lowe's and Home Depot.
I live in Seabrook, which is a small coastal city SE of town. However, we'll be ok.
I think the News does it so people will be freaked out and staying tuned in for round the clock news coverage. They're predicting 24"+ of rain over the weekend. They did that earlier this year and we ended up with less than 2".
