My Collins Creek project is hitting it's publishing day.
This is three volumes of my short fiction that will eventually include all my Fiction River stories. A few of which (imagine this!) touch on baseball in various ways--My award-nominated "The White Game" uses baseball of the 60's as a central emphasis for a much darker world around it, and "Look Safe" is actually BBA-related since it uses one-time YS9 CF Carlos Garcia as its central figure. I note I make the story contemporary by adding one word to set it in the current day, but we all know different. A collaboration with my daughter, "The Year That Went Into Extra Innings," uses a fictional world series to drive a family romp through the winter holidays. All three of these are in the first volume. There's more basebally goodness in the next volume, too.
Anyway. Book one is out now. The next three are on pre-order--all at a reduced price of only $.99 on electronic formats (print are also available).
Check it out if you're up for it.
