2043-2044 Offseason Bonus Funds Tracker and Stadium Dues
I've decided to update this with a new forum every year. This is the 2043-2044 offseason bonus funds tracker. The spreadsheet is also attached. Use the page as a guideline; I will be updating the page but not the spreadsheet.
I will add the stadium fees spreadsheet later. I'm rewriting it.
A list of bonus funds and team names will be listed next to each other in the following message here. Negative bonus funds will have to be accounted for this year. If you have negative bonus funds the money will be taken out of cash on hand, even if your cash on hand is currently negative. Cash will be removed on Opening Day of the following season, in this case Opening Day 2042, as to facilitate offseason transactions. All teams with negative bonus cash are highlighted in red.
Any questions shall be directed to me.
A couple quick highlights:
We haven't had so many zeroes for quite some time in excess cash. If this persists we'll review whether finances are working as intended. Only current negative is Nashville, who might not be there for long since their stadium is no longer outrageous.
Seattle, Calgary, and Chicago entered higher bands this year.
Next year, Atlantic City, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Valencia will all be paying maximum base stadium fees. Wichita and Boise will have to start paying for their parks next year, as will San Fernando. Mexico City's payment plan will end. Vancouver will be on a higher band.

Montreal doesn't look updated. They built a stadium last year. I only know because I was talking with Herb about it on slack earlier.

If it did I wasn't informed.
I have also bumped this thread.
However, New Orleans did complete a stadium and that has been updated.

Just wondering... what do you mean by "so many zeros for extra cash?"

There were a lot more teams who didn't add any bonus funds.

Re: 2043-2044 Offseason Bonus Funds Tracker and Stadium Dues
Ok.
I don't know if this matters, but I will say that once I've got a bit of bonus cash, my personal goal is to spend all my resources in a season--so my goal is to not add to my bonus cash unless I'm in real need. If others are working in that deliberate fashion, then I'd say the financial system is working well.

Very reasonable. In 2044 there were 16 zeroes. It's been about an average of 10 or 11 over the past few years (after 15 in 2036).RonCo wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 9:07 amOk.

I'm cool with it frankly, but if it happens two years in a row it's worth a look.

Re: 2043-2044 Offseason Bonus Funds Tracker and Stadium Dues
I see the bonus funds tracker, is there one that shows where we are on the stadium costs? Thought we had one that showed how old the stadium is and how much it goes up each year, but I can't find it. Just trying to plan when I need to replace.

The old one hasn't changed, but I'm creating a new one. Just look at the 2042-2043 version of this.
