Oscar is the son of that well known GM, Jeff Palin. Despite his Dad's erratic career Oscar has worked hard at his craft and has become a tremendous contact hitter with a Joey Votto like eye. His Dad says that he got his eye from him: "Oscar, that's the only way I could get on base; either taking a walk or leaning into a pitch!" Oscar had plans to attend Lee University and study to be a Youth Pastor, but his love of baseball could put that lucrative career on hold for the time being.

Quinn Richardson is the grandson of current Omaha Hawks manager Quentin Richardson. He has earned the nickname short-stuff among teammates that transpires fro his 5'6 frame. He may lack vertical ability, but he doesn't lack in hitting the ball out of the park as his elite power make him one of the better hitting amateurs in the nation. His glove backs up his play at the plate, although he does have a tendency to not be able to lay off some bad pitches.

Logan has a good defensive mindset and good approach at the plate, but what separate him from others is his great work ethic. Fun Fact...Logan's nickname is LJ, as his middle name is Jacob. Jacob Williams spent time last season with the Hawks around the infield, and is a long shot to potentially play shortstop this coming season for the Hawks.

My first favorite OOTP player. Taro is a popular "Rock Star" like CF who is good for a .300/.330/.500 split heavy line every year. He doesn't hit many doubles but does have enough speed to steal 15-20 bases. He is also a very good outfielder with a cannon for an arm. His range is a tweener between decent CF and amazing RF.

Beau Bunterson never saw a pitch he couldn't dribble down the third base line, or first base line, or wherever he wants to put it. The man's ability to catch a pitch with the bat is the stuff of legends, which is good, because "Bunty" can't hit the ball out of the infield. Sometimes, if he swings out of his shoes, he can get it back to the pitcher's mound. It's tough when you're a buck fifty soaking wet. But Bunty has his wheels, and his glove, and of course, his incredible bunting skills.
