Wichita spends 10 PP and $2.5 million

Post by felipe » Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:13 pm

Due to the poor movement rating of most of our pitchers, Wichita is changing one of its ballpark factors...no longer will we be the whipping boy of left-handed sluggers.

Please spend $2.5 million and 10 PPT to change our ballpark factor HR v LHB to a more neutral 1.049; (from the apparently illegal current 1.289)

We did this by pushing back our right field line from 325 to 350 feet, and by pushing back our right center from 355 to 375 feet.

I guess to keep this realistic you should drop our stadium capacity from 40, 165 to a round 40, 000, but you don`t have too...

Thank you sir

Is a seat really a seat if nobody ever sat there?

Interesting that 2 Sun Belt teams are knocking down the snow fence in the same off season. Kinda puts a question mark next to Ed Curry making it to 500 HR.

You could be onto something; he hit 32 taters at home and only 19 on the road

So...he should be good for around forty home runs instead of fifty this season (if he stays healthy, that is)

Which means he will likely need three or four more seasons to reach 500 instead of 2 to 3 seasons...

I don't think he will last long enough to do it
