Opening Day PPT Count Complete

I've completed the Opening Day PPT Count. You can find it here
A few interesting Notes:
Lots of great progress.
- 13 teams have already met their PPT criteria for the season!
- 2 teams have met their 6 TN requirement, but are just short of their 20 overall
- 1 team has met the 20 overall, but is "only" half way to the TN requirement
All total, the league has already earned 787 points. I don't have waypoint records, but this represents almost 42% of the total PPT racked up during last year's record breaking performance.
PREVIEWS ROCKING!
The league produced 18 team previews, beating 2029's 16 for the most since 2020 (when the league got 20). Technically I think we're still expecting a couple. 14 GM's contributed, which I believe is a record, but I'd have to go back and count again, and I'm tired. I've also got to say that the quality of these previews was outstanding this year. So much fun to read.
And that's NOT COUNTING THE MEDIA GUIDE!
TNs OFF THE CHART?
Again, I've got no waypoint data, but it feels like the league is rocking TNs. We've produced 215 so far, and it's just now opening day (anf I'm not even on a record pace!). To give you an idea of where this puts us...2026 gave us a TOTAL of 199. 2010 gave us 214. All total, the off-season has resulting in more TNs than the league created in 10 of its last 40 seasons.
And, again, SO MANY of these have been the awesom fun kinds of TNs.
POSTING ALSO RUNS HIGH
We're over 2,400 posts this year. I have no idea where that will put us, but 16 of our 30 teams are already over the 50 post mark were bonus points start to kick in. Great, great numbers...elite numbers, don't you think?
SPENDING CRUMUDGEON-LIKE?
Again, no idea of how this compares right now, but the league entered the off-season with 4,702 points and spend 2,229 of them--about 47%. THat feels like teams are leaving "money" on the table in the form of the time value of points. Perhaps some have grander plans? Dunno.
