With the recent popularity of podcasting around the league, and notice that podcasts might be used for TNs, the board has reviewed the PPT requirements and will be running a 1-season trial going forward.

Please note that at least four written TNs are expected and that podcasts are still expected to be accompanied by keywords to make them searchable.

Below, find the applicable changes:

Minimum GM Requirements:

Each season, a GM is expected to gather:

• At least 20 Participation Points
• At least 6 of which come from Team News (*)
• At least 2 of which come before the mid-season checkpoint.

(*) 2035 Trial -- Podcasts may be used as TN under the following constraints: (1) Teams are still required to have at least 4 written TNs, and (2) Podcasts are expected to be posted with labels or other elements to allow them to be searchable. This allowance will be reviewed at the end of 2035.

The only real issue we have with podcasts for TNs is that they are not directly searchable, so their use as history is a little bit reduced. So just do your best right now ... find a balance to the best of your ability, but don't spend too much time on it. If I were to have podcast my last bit on Lucas McNeill, I'd probably use something like my title and the subtitle. Maybe add in Mikki Manning. Dunno. Shrug.

Like I said, do your best, don't sweat too hard. We'll look at it next season and see what's working and what isn't.

No the searchable part. Do you mean we are expected to topically timestamp everything? or just make sure the podcast itself has an appropriate title? Your use of the word label is throwing me off.

No need to time stamp anything.

Think more about people trying to find it a year after it's released.

The Genius should get three or four to reflect his relative worth

Whoever the "Genius" is, I'll be sure to let him know.
