Confirmed.
We can't afford the hopeful extension of Pedro Bustamante and Rice, so this is the unfortunate fallout because in a perfect world we wouldn't have to move him.
There is an open 40 man spot for Martinez, and please place him as the starting DH in both lineups. Taking Rice's spot in CF and lineup is Kratvanga Thiranavu. (He's already on the roster)

I posted this on Discord but repeating it here: is this just an "OOTP thing" that is ignored and the trade can go forward, or is this trade not allowed? I have the cap space once Martinez's salary is gone, and I have $20M in cash. Ryan and I obviously would prefer to know this before this morning's sim. Any help would be appreciated.
