This is an interesting deal and one I like for Jax. I am not thrilled to see my division foe trade fo a guy that I had discussions about and then backed off of. I wish him nothing but the most strikeouts ever now.

Makes a lot of sense to me. Jacksonville gets younger and Yellow Springs grasping at straws to try and be good.

Mahaffey is not a good clubhouse guy. Valencia under achieved during his entire tenure and Brooklyn didn't do what I expected last year with him. Of course its highly debatable if that even matters. Plus.... Yellow Springs is the Holy land of the BBA... So one bad apple probably won't matter much.
