Re: WIC/SFV
trade submitted in game without the cash, since i prefer it to come from bonus cash as opposed to in-game cash if possible

Re: WIC/SFV
Aviators confirm, will try to submit in game when I download the file but I haven't used that facility yet lol. It was hard to give up Ramirez but three pitching prospects who I rate helped as did the nose dive that made this season irrelevant. Maldonado at his salary will just be a rental but will hopefully cover Ramirez's offence in his few months in Wichitausnspecialist wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 7:57 amWIC gets:

Re: WIC/SFV
This trade is totally fair. I'm not trying to say otherwise. I just don't get Maldonado's inclusion.
For SFV.... He was on pace for a guaranteed type B, solid shot at a type A. The season is two thirds over so he is only owed somewhere in the ballpark of 3 million. Or half of the cash they sent to Wichita. The Bears had plenty of cap room to not trade him. And his extreme popularity would be most important in September when fans stop showing up.
For Wichita... If they wanted and succeeded to sign him to a long term deal. It would totally make sense and probably make this trade a win for them if it was a good deal. I do like two of the pitchers they got. Likewise, if they plan on flipping him. That would add a yet to be known additional value. But if he is just a rental then why even bother. Wichita is likely not making the playoffs this year and this deal is evident that they have an eye toward the future. Sure he softens or neutralizes the FI hit, but that is only temporary if he doesn't resign.
Again. I'm not killing the trade. I just feel like Maldonado's inclusion didn't really add much to either end of the deal.

Re: WIC/SFV
maldonado was included to balance out the immediate FI hit that wichita was going to take. I also know that wichita is cash needy and i had some, so i was willing to part with some to balance it out a bit. I really wanted to keep maldonado (not only for popularity reasons, but because i wanted to see him make a run at some single season franchise records), but in the end you do not get a chance to get a guy like ramirez often and i was not going to let that be the dealbreaker.

Re: WIC/SFV
He did get some solid pitching prospects. I like Takahashi and Guerrero could move quick as a potentially solid #5. But I like this for San Fernando. A lot.

Re: WIC/SFV
Maldonado was a freebie paid for by the cash and hopefully will mitigate the expected big hit on FI for the rest of the year. Hoping that this will keep the fans turning up for the rest of the year to post an all too rare profit. Three young pitchers coupled with two or three I picked up in this year’s draft might make a start on replacing my sorry-arse pitchers. It’s one of the few deals I’ve done where I really feel it benefits both teams

@recte44 I have entered the trade in-game, but you will have to manually enter my $6m into cash please. Leave the incoming MiL players in DFA please and put Maldonado on ML roster as starting RF v RH & LH and in the cleanup role RH & LH please
