Wow.... I know pucketts stats have cratered and he is lumping, but still crazy to see that be the return. Even crazier is that I think it is reasonable.

While his contact decreased I think its far from lumping. Even with reduced offense the combo of his bat and glove far supercedes anyone else I have. My defense needs to improve and this improves both my offense and defense at SS.

He is still a very good, all star level player having a down year. I just think less then a season ago you could argue he was one of the best up and coming players in the game. Assuming he doesn't lump anymore, I love this trade for Calgary.

Interesting deal for both sides...despite being a division foe, I really love it for Calgary assuming they play Puckett at SS. And somehow Rockville's already excellent pitching just got a bit better.
