Should this not be in "completed trades"? Just so Recte doesn't miss it.

Duggan's an interesting prospect.

Duggan's an interesting prospect.
Should be very good in corners, good enough in center and maybe even play 3B in a pinch.

Awfully young/raw though. Probably less than a 50% chance he makes it. Still, he's without any real flaws, which is nice.

He's fairly well developed for a late 17 year old, so probably a little better than 50% to yield of some value. His top end right now is Andy McKinney with legs and a real glove.

Making numbers up, maybe 25% he hits the top end, 35% he's got value, 40% bustlike.

But Cardenas is a solid reliever, young, and probably a little underpaid. So I'd say Omaha had to give something of real value to get him.
This is one of those "now for later" deals that no one can know the "winner" until later...but it looks good to me because I think it moves both teams along the paths they are trying to move along.

He can't play 3B, he throws lefty.

He can't bunt for a hit very well...and probably couldn't play catcher....I wish he had more flaws but I also wish I didn't need some bullpen arms so badly.

So did this trade come together as a result of California's frustration with the '"
LeanGreen Diet"?

Beforehand. But the timing is nice. I should write a TN, but I won't because I don't care. These last two posts are pretty much the whole TN anyway.
You're welcome.
