Thanks to Kevin for the deal. I'm happy to enable Mario "future hall of famer" Balderas to go home. Sort of a meh deal on my side. Balderas contract is hard to value. If he opts out after next year, then I'm happy with this deal. But if he doesn't... it will look really bad. But if I don't trade him and he doesn't opt out, it means he lumped and would then be untradeable and I'm on the hook for his full salary no matter what. In the end I felt it was best just to get what I could for now.
