Value seems legit in the trade but I gotta say its strange to trade away Baba Lue (a guy who can play 1st) for peanuts (suggesting a tear down) and then trade a good prospect for 28 year old Mike Bailey and a 1B (suggesting a win now scenario).

For what it's worth, it was the prior gm who traded Lue days before I arrived.

The first baseman I am acquiring is someone I believe will be around for 4+ years as is bailey (per his contract). I am not necessarily sitting at win now, however a rebuild should not be happening. There is some talent on this team

Gotta rebuild around something. In my case, I will let you know as soon as I do.

Oh gotcha. That makes way more sense. In my head I was like these trades seem to have been by two separate people. Split personality maybe? But yea it really was 2 different people hah.

Something seems broken with 3B. Wendel Clark had played almost exclusively 3B, so EXP isn't an issue, and he now has no 3B rating with 6/5/10/5 fielding ratings.

Clark has 115 games at 1B and only 143 games at 3rd. No way he is at a full 200 exp. Im assuming they just jacked up the min exp requirement to get a rating. He will be fine.
