Resignation
Hi,
Unfortunately, I've come to the decision that I think I need to resign from the BBA and the Cougars.
The day before Thanksgiving, my wife tested positive for COVID, and although her case wasn't horrible, it did stick around for a while, and the very next week I was laid off from my job of nearly 4 years, along with half the company. And then, of course, I had a horrible time traveling around the holidays, as I'm sure many of you did here, resulting in a handful of missed sims in the last few weeks, as well as barely any writing.
I thought BBA would be a fun way to make myself play OOTP in a bit of a different way, and make myself write a little bit more - and about a topic I love, baseball (even fictional baseball) - but I think with the upcoming job hunt and how much I've been struggling already to make consistent time for BBA, I think it just makes the most sense for me to resign.
Maybe once I've found a new job and things settle a bit in my personal life, I can come give the GBC or BBA another shot, but I just don't want to be negatively impacting the league overall when I'm not able to commit the time.
I had a really great time interacting with everyone here, and I hope I can eventually have more time for OOTP again!
Happy New Year, everyone
Taylor
