Unable to assign Rule 5 returned player to minor league team

Ethan Aitcheson was a Rule 5 player who was just returned to me. The game won't let me assign him to the minors, because it thinks he needs to be on the 40-man roster. Can you please assign him to AA and set his role to "Middle relief"? There's an open spot for him.
